The performance piece is the first attempt to approximate and capture the experience of chronic illness and disability in the aftermath of domestic violence, in which I try to grasp it through inaccurate words, images and movements. Grounded in the physical condition resulting from abuse and a spectrum of hard-to-bear sensations, it is a raw account of the mind's and self's disintegration in real time, and of the social conditions and stigma that surround and sustain it.

Die Performance ist ein erster Versuch, die Erfahrung chronischer Krankheit und einer Form von Behinderung im Nachhall häuslicher Gewalt anzunähern und einzufangen, indem ich versuche, sie durch ungenaue Worte, Bilder und Bewegungen zu greifen.
Ausgehend von den körperlichen Zuständen infolge von geschlechtsspezifischer Gewalt und einem Spektrum schwer erträglicher Empfindungen ist sie ein roher Bericht über die Auflösung von Geist und Selbst in Echtzeit sowie über die sozialen Bedingungen und Stigmata, die diese Erfahrung umgeben und aufrechterhalten.
